How do I do this?

It’s going to take me a while to get this blogging thing right ... I’m still very selfish with my thoughts and feelings and revelations. I can share them with one or two people face-to-face, in a situation where I can respond to their feedback and explain myself to them ... but it’s quite scary sharing them here where they’re so definite and permanent and printed in black and white ... in Tribuchet.

Yes, I did actually go and check the font before posting this ... I’m kind of OCD that way ... or COD as a friend of mine says ... inside joke, he makes me laugh. He also encourages me ... he sent me this verse the other morning:

“The faithful love of the LORD never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is His faithfulness; His mercies begin afresh each morning. I say to myself, ‘The LORD is my inheritance; therefore I will hope in Him.’”

Pretty awesome, hey? It helped me get through this week. I really don’t dig the idea of just living for the weekend ... I totally believe that every day is an opportunity for joy and discovery ... but that’s what I’ve been doing this week and gee whiz, am I glad this weekend’s here!!

Thanks for getting me through this week, LORD, I couldn’t have done it without You! You are my strength and my fortress; my hope is in You and I’m AMPed!!

So here I am doing what needs to be done ... but there’s more to life than that and I need to find out from GOD what that is – I think it’s going to be a pretty extraordinary weekend, so here goes ...
